Cihu Sculpture Memorial Park

  • Area :Taoyuan

The Cihu Sculpture Memorial Park was established in 1997 by the Daxi Town Hall. From its relocation in February 29, 2000 to date, the park has built a collection of 152 bronze sculptures of late president Chiang Kai-Shek. The park's tallest, bronze statue was donated by the City of Kaohsiung. After renovations undertaken by Taoyuan County and daxi Town, the park was reopened for the public in April 5, 2008, under the theme of Wound and Recovery. It is the world's only memorial park with statues dedicated to one person. The statues can be admired by following a path that winds through the park across bridges and along small streams, an elegant place.
