Wufeng Lin Family Mansion and Garden

The Wufeng Forest Mansion comprises an Upper House, Lower House, and the famous Laiyuan Garden. The first construction was undertaken in 1893 by Lin Wenqin, a first-degree scholar in the imperial examination system, who staged performances for his mother, Madame Luo, in the Laiyuan garden, one of the Four Great Gardens of Taiwan. Over time, the garden and residence were expanded and altered with Chinese, Western, and Japanese elements. Closed on Mondays.
