Remembering the Central Cross-Island Highway: Lishan & Guguan Slow-Life 3-Day Tour

From: New Taipei City
Days: 3 Day
Minimum Persons: 4 Person
For foreign-language tour guide service, an additional fee of NT$3,000 per vehicle will be charged.

Stepping onto the long-unvisited Western Section of the Central Cross-Island Highway, we journey deep into the high mountains, following mountain ridges and river valleys. This is a route rarely trodden due to inconvenient transportation, yet it offers breathtaking scenery at every turn. This three-day itinerary, at a comfortable pace, connects Xinshe, the Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way, Guguan Hot Spring Mountain Town, Lishan Highland, and Fushoushan Farm. It allows you to rediscover the grandeur and subtle beauty of Taiwan's mountain highways, both while moving and during your stops.

The itinerary balances nature and culture: during the day, cycle along the Dongfeng Bicycle Green Way, traversing through lush greenery and pastoral scenery; in Guguan, enjoy hotel facilities and the charm of mountain town evenings; ascend to Lishan and Fushoushan Farm to admire high-mountain vistas and the allure of seasonal flowers and fruits; finally, visit the Huanshan Hunter's Trail or Wuling Farm to experience the refreshing vastness of forest trails. Should the temporary section of the Central Cross-Island Highway be impassable, alternative routes such as Cingjing, Wuling Pass, and Songxue Lodge are available, allowing the journey to be flexibly adjusted according to weather and road conditions, ensuring it remains wonderful.
