Legends of the Magang Ama (Female diver)& Sandiaoling Mudan Old Mountain Town Hidden-Gems Tour

Embark on a one-day journey to a hidden gem, far from the urban hustle and bustle. Starting from New Taipei City, travel all the way to Magang Fishing Village, Taiwan's easternmost point. Listen as your guide shares the stories of the stone houses and fishing village life, and immerse yourself in the slow pace, a blend of sea breeze, the sound of waves, and genuine local hospitality. If you visit between July and October, you can also opt to participate in the Magang Ama (traditional female diver) experience (at your own expense), gaining an intimate understanding of traditional Ama culture and the wisdom of marine foraging.
In the afternoon, stroll into Mudan Old Street, exploring the nostalgic alleys of this mountain town and searching for traces of its past mining industry and settlements. Then, head to Sandiaoling Train Station, the only station in Taiwan inaccessible by vehicle. Slow down amidst the tranquil atmosphere where mountains meet the sea, and experience the unique charm of a destination reachable only by foot and rail. The entire journey, connecting the Northeast Coast's fishing villages, mountain towns, and railway hidden gems, is facilitated by Taiwan Tour Bus transfers and a Mandarin-speaking guide, allowing you to start with ease and explore with peace of mind.

Notes
1.Meeting times will be confirmed one day prior to departure.
2.Departure: Daily (except during Lunar New Year and national consecutive holidays).
3.The duration of each sightseeing stop is for reference only. In case of traffic congestion,
the company reserves the right to adjust the schedule or change the visiting order as
necessary.
4.The tour mainly uses 9-seater vehicles. Vehicle type will be arranged based on the final
number of participants.
5.Unused items included in the tour package are non-refundable.
6.If meals are included, please inform us of any vegetarian requirements upon booking.
7.In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the company reserves the
right to cancel or modify the itinerary.
8.If the tour is canceled due to natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, or heavy rain,
the company reserves the right to postpone departure or offer a full refund.
9.Participants are advised to wear light, comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring appropriate
warm layers for cooler temperatures.
10.Please do not bring pets on the tour in order to maintain public hygiene and prevent the
spread of infectious diseases.
(Pets are not allowed in vehicles, hotels, or restaurants. Guide dogs are exempted.)
11.Please bring a light raincoat and water bottle, sun hat or umbrella, warm jacket (for cool
air-conditioning on the bus or lower temperatures in mountain and coastal areas), camera,
batteries, charger, and personal medication (such as motion sickness or cold medicine).
