Taroko Tianxiang & Hualien: A Day Trip to Instagrammable Hidden Gems

Condense the essence of Hualien's mountains and sea into a single day: from the majestic terrain of Taroko Gorge and the scenic trails around Tianxiang, to the cultural strolls of Xincheng Old Street and the coastal charm of Qixingtan (Chihsingtan) Beach. Along the way, collect movie filming locations, hipster hidden gems, stunning sea views, and contemporary architecture, ensuring your journey is more than just a fleeting visit, but an experience that imprints Hualien into your heart with all five senses.
The itinerary begins with a gathering at Hualien Transfer Station, followed by an in-depth exploration of Taroko Terrace and its Visitor Center. Depending on the weather, we'll flexibly adjust visits to Tianxiang or alternative attractions. Lunch will feature a simple meal or set menu at a local hotel or restaurant. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Wanwei Fanle Yuan Story House and Qixingtan Eco Mambo Park. Finally, at the Haimin Exploration Museum, you'll experience a DIY sea mineral tofu pudding workshop. From mountains to the sea, from nature to hands-on creation, the pace is just right, and photo opportunities abound, making it perfect for those who want to relax yet not miss any of Hualien's highlights.

→Playful Farm Story Museum (20 min) -

→Arrive back at Hualien Transfer Station around 17:00 ※For travelers taking trains, it is recommended to book departures after 18:00.

1.Meeting times will be confirmed one day prior to departure.
2.Departure: Daily (except during Lunar New Year and national consecutive holidays).
3.The duration of each sightseeing stop is for reference only. In case of traffic congestion,
the company reserves the right to adjust the schedule or change the visiting order as
necessary.
4.The vehicle type for this itinerary will be arranged according to the final number of participants registered on the day of departure.
5.Unused items included in the tour package are non-refundable.
6.If meals are included, please inform us of any vegetarian requirements upon booking.
7.In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the company reserves the
right to cancel or modify the itinerary.
8.If the tour is canceled due to natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, or heavy rain,
the company reserves the right to postpone departure or offer a full refund.
9.Participants are advised to wear light, comfortable clothing and shoes,and bring appropriate
warm layers for cooler temperatures.
10.Please do not bring pets on the tour in order to maintain public hygiene and prevent the
spread of infectious diseases.
(Pets are not allowed in vehicles, hotels, or restaurants. Guide dogs are exempted.)
11.Please bring a light raincoat and water bottle, sun hat or umbrella, warm jacket (for cool
air-conditioning on the bus or lower temperatures in mountain and coastal areas), camera,
batteries, charger, and personal medication (such as motion sickness or cold medicine).
