Kaohsiung Classic One-Day Tour: Exploring the Soul Stories of the Harbor City
Spend a day exploring Kaohsiung's most iconic cultural landscapes and urban memories. After gathering and departing, we'll head north to the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center. There, you can experience its solemn and magnificent religious art and cultural atmosphere. Slow down your pace in the spacious grounds and gain an immersive understanding of the connection between faith and life in Southern Taiwan. In the afternoon, visit the Qiaotou Sugar Refinery to reflect on the industrial stories and old architectural styles from the sugar industry era. Next, we'll head to the Lotus Pond area, linking together classic attractions such as the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, Spring and Autumn Pavilions, Wuli Pavilion, Beiji Pavilion of Yuandi Temple, and Zuoying Confucius Temple. From lake views and temples to ancient village settlements, you'll fully experience how the "Port City" (Kaohsiung) is not only prosperous but also boasts soul-stirring landscapes with profound heritage. The tour primarily uses a 9-seater vehicle and includes a Mandarin-speaking tour guide, making it ideal for travelers who wish to gain rich cultural insights in a short amount of time.

- 09:00 Formosa Boulevard MRT Station, Exit 1
- 09:30 HSR Zuoying Station, Exit 3
- 10:00 The Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum (150 min, including lunch) (Closed on Tuesdays)
- 13:10 Ciaotou Sugar Refinery (50 min)
- 14:30 Lotus Lake –Dragon and Tiger Pagodas / Tzu Chi Palace / Spring & Autumn Pagodas / Wuliting / Yuandi Temple Beiji Pavilion / Zuoying Confucius Temple (120 min)
- (Due to renovation work until September 15, the route remains unchanged, but the Confucius Temple will not be entered; other sites will still be visited.)
- 17:00 Return to HSR Zuoying Station
- 17:30 Return to Kaohsiung Formosa Boulevard Station
1.Meeting times will be confirmed one day prior to departure.
2.Departure: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
3.The duration of each sightseeing stop is for reference only. In case of traffic congestion,
the company reserves the right to adjust the schedule or change the visiting order as
necessary.
4.The tour mainly uses 9-seater vehicles. Vehicle type will be arranged based on the final
number of participants.
5.Unused items included in the tour package are non-refundable.
6.If meals are included, please inform us of any vegetarian requirements upon booking.
7.In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the company reserves the
right to cancel or modify the itinerary.
8.If the tour is canceled due to natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, or heavy rain,
the company reserves the right to postpone departure or offer a full refund.
9.Participants are advised to wear light, comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring appropriate
warm layers for cooler temperatures.
10.Please do not bring pets on the tour in order to maintain public hygiene and prevent the
spread of infectious diseases.
(Pets are not allowed in vehicles, hotels, or restaurants. Guide dogs are exempted.)
11.Please bring a light raincoat and water bottle, sun hat or umbrella, warm jacket (for cool
air-conditioning on the bus or lower temperatures in mountain and coastal areas), camera,
batteries, charger, and personal medication (such as motion sickness or cold medicine).

■From now on, disposable bottled water will no longer be provided on the tour bus.
