Embark on a journey along Provincial Highway 61 (West Coast Expressway) with our "Wandering West on 61: A One-Day Journey to the West Coast" tour! This trip allows you to discover Tainan's most iconic coastal salt industry landscapes and vibrant wetland ecosystems all in one go. Glide through the tranquil Sihcao Green Tunnel (Mangrove Tunnel), where waterways and lush forests intertwine. Depending on the season, you'll visit either the Black-faced Spoonbill Exhibition Hall or the Black-faced Spoonbill Birdwatching Pavilion to learn about these migratory birds and the story of wetland conservation up close.
The itinerary seamlessly connects the Qingkunshēn Fan-shaped Salt Fields, Beimen Crystal Church, Beimen Visitor Center, and Jingzaijiao Tile-Paved Salt Fields. From the unique salt field landscapes to charming fishing villages, you'll experience the local daily life of salt harvesting. A delicious Jiangjun-style lunch is also arranged to replenish your energy.

(Pets are not allowed in vehicles, hotels, or restaurants. Guide dogs are exempted.) 11.Please bring a light raincoat and water bottle, sun hat or umbrella, warm jacket (for cool air-conditioning on the bus or lower temperatures in mountain and coastal areas), camera, batteries, charger, and personal medication (such as motion sickness or cold medicine).
