"Toot-toot!" Following the rhythm of the train, step into the mountain town of Nantou. In a single day, immerse yourself in the railway charm of Jiji, the timber industry memories of Checheng, and the breathtaking scenery of Sun Moon Lake.
Starting from Taichung, comfortably board the Taiwan Tour Bus and stroll through Jiji Town, one of Taiwan's Top 10 Tourist Towns. Experience the slow-paced atmosphere where old streets and railways intertwine, and savor local bananas and the town's unique flavors.
Next, head to Checheng Old Street and the Timber Industry Exhibition Hall, often called Nantou's "secret garden." Breathe in the aroma of cypress wood, step into the Railway Schoolhouse, and learn about the prosperity that forestry and railways once brought.
In the afternoon, arrive at the Xiangshan Visitor Center to admire the beauty of Sun Moon Lake through the lens of modern architecture. Then, take a boat tour of the lake, visiting Shuishe Pier, Ita Thao, and Xuanguang Temple, and gaze from afar at Lalu Island and the captivating layers of the lake's surface. Conclude your day with a leisurely stroll along a scenic trail, allowing the stories of mountains, water, culture, and railways to create the perfect healing day.

(Pets are not allowed in vehicles, hotels, or restaurants. Guide dogs are exempted.) 11.Please bring a light raincoat and water bottle, sun hat or umbrella, warm jacket (for cool air-conditioning on the bus or lower temperatures in mountain and coastal areas), camera, batteries, charger, and personal medication (such as motion sickness or cold medicine).
