National Palace Museum

Located in the Waishuangxi valley, the National Palace Museum boasts the world's largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art and artifacts, dating back more than 7,000 years. The full collection comprises over 650,000 items, including calligraphy, paintings, jade, ceramics, bronze, silk, curio pieces and rare curios. The museum stages interesting rotating exhibitions of its own collection and foreign collections, and special 'quiet visiting hours'.
