Confucius Temple

This largest Confucius temple in Taiwan is modeled after Song Dynasty architecture. The temple features magnificent archways and copper wall reliefs depicting the life of the ancient sage. Ancient Confucian ceremonies are still conducted in its halls on a regular basis. When not in use, the ritual implements and musical instruments that are used in these ceremonies are on display in their store rooms at the temple.
