Taroko Gorge National Park

Taroko Gorge offers spectacular sights. Created by tectonic movement and erosion by the Liwu River, the marble gorge rises high and close, embodying nature in all its power. There are several scenic sites here, including the engineering marvel of the highway itself. Other famous spots include the Tunnel of Nine Turns, Swallow Grotto, Zhuilu Precipice, Eternal Spring Shrine, Mother Bridge, and the Tianxiang Mesa.
