Wenwu Temple

Wenwu Temple is nestled halfway up a steep slope on the north end of Sun Moon Lake. This impressive structure is laid out with one courtyard, two gardens and three halls in the manner of high-ranking temples. The front hall, a tower-like structure called Shuiyun Hall, is devoted to the founding temple gods. The main Wushen Hall is devoted to Kuan Yu and the rear Dacheng Hall is devoted to Confucius.
