An order from abroad changed the fate of Shuangfeng Factory in a Hakka village:since then its fate has been inextricably linked with wood ducks ... With the worldwide trend of nature conservation starting in the nineties, the factory's business became quiet. But in 2002 it found a new lease of life. Under its new name DP Duck DIY, the factory now manufactures handpainted wooden ducks, a Hakka handicrafted that quickly has become a favorite of collectors and conservationists.
