Zhushan Zinan Temple

  • Area :Nantou County

Located in Zhushan, Nantou County, the Zinan Temple was built in 1745 to honor the local land god, who favored the local residents with good fortune and great wealth ever since. The temple has grown favorite with people from elsewhere as well, who flock here to pray for luck and wealth. Since borrowed money seems to be specially favored by the land god, the temple has a bank counter where worshippers can 'borrow' small sums of money. The temple also boasts the most luxurious public toilets of Taiwan.
