Baisha Beach

Baisha Beach is located at east Hengchun and is one of the scenic spots in Kenting National Park. Baisha Beach is a bay between the headlands of Linshanbi and Fukuijiao. It is a shell sand beach formed by the shells of marine creatures. The sands on the beach are white and even, shiny and bright. It is famous for its white sand and clear water. Walking along the beach, visitors can see the shingle beach paved with small stones, which are mostly black andesite. These rocks were erupted from the Tatun Volcanoes 800 thousand years ago. As the larva contained different kinds of minerals, there are many black crystals on the surface of the rocks. During the winter, Baisha Beach is still calm, unaffected by the northwesterly winds prevailed in winter. Therefore, it is an ideal place for swimming, diving, yachting, and more. You can also barbecue, and go camping, biking, and hiking on the land. In autumn and winter, the sunset scenes by the sea are gorgeous. During the dark night, you can see stars twinkling in the sky.
